Wisconsin Democratic Senators: We're Staying In Illinois Until Gov. Walker Agrees To Negotiate

Is your name Gin or is that what you have for breakfast? Unions are in business for unions and they are using their members as a means of staying in business. They have priced our states and our business out of business and out of the country. Originally they produced much needed changes in and for our country but like anything else power has the proclivity to produce ill, and they have. Wisconsin is a good example of why union methods should not be in the public sector. Their methods of extortion, "just call in sick and grab a sign" is certainly not helping the students in that state. In the educational system their bargaining power has ruined the educational pool of teachers by preventing a natural culling process to ocur. In the world of business they have contributed greatly to our inability to compete in the world market place.

As far as being the saviors middle class America, who do you think pays for the excessive retirement packages?

Wisconsin Democratic Senators: We're Staying In Illinois Until Gov. Walker Agrees To Negotiate

Typical situation. Just vote present, except the dems don’t even have the intestinal fortitude to fulfill that minor responsibility. The absenteeism of the school teachers, the busing in from out of state, the use of students (who don’t even know why they are demonstrating), are all good reasons to boot the unions out of the public sector.

Unions have done a lot of good in the private sector over the years but when the cow runs out of milk you have to quit squeezing the teat. Governments, (the people), do not have the means to continue giving more and more. I’ve noticed that one of the battle cries of the protesters in Wisconsin is that we are your friends and neighbors, we have the right to bargain for more. Who do they think they are asking to pay that tab. The benefits packages are out of control across our nation and something has to happen.

This type of activity is more likely to occur in other parts of the world during mob situations, due to perceived anonymity of the perpetrators. The fundamental Islamist or Muslim attitude would make this even more predictable because of their basic societal mores regarding women. I have to believe that MS. Nancy Pelosi: Women's Rights Face Greatest Threat 'In Our Lifetime'

If your point is, these choices to abort life are all justifiable, you are either a prevaricator or ill informed.

. McCorvey wrote that she had "wanted to terminate my pregnancy because of the economic hardship which my pregnancy entailed, and because of the social stigma attached to the bearing of illegitimate children in our society." Since she could not afford to travel to another state for a legal abortion, she said: "I fear that my very life would be endangered if I submitted to an abortion which I could afford.".

That some may be justified to insure the safety and life of the mother is a given, but allowed as a matter just for choice is morally corrupt.

I do understand that abortions have been taking place for most of our history, and that most of those prior to the twentieth century were extremely dangerous to the childbearing mothers. Something had to change in that regard. There is no way the numbers involved prior to “RvW” were anywhere in proximity to the numbers that have occurred since. We as a society have taken a role and position of total permissiveness sexually and that has driven the numbers of abortions to the high numbers we now see. This permissiveness is exacerbated in our educational system by trying to treat the symptom of pregnancy as a matter of prevention rather than a matter of responsibility that should be part of parenting. As those children move into young adulthood choosing sex as a recreational activity

You need to get a grip on reality. This has nothing to do with screwing the working poor and middle class. It is so easy to jump on the poor me band wagon being the poor little abused whatever. I will grant you that a percentage of individual wealthy are making enormous sums of money, but so are millions of shareholders who are the middle class. I keep seeing a lot of Huffers post only whine and snivel without any positive input for finding solutions. An example of this practice is the constant yadayada about jobs being outsourced, companies moving out of the country etc. and yet you would increase business taxes. Good move for increasing the governments income. Our government makes money of revenue created by productivity. We need to give companies reason to bring business and product creation back to the United States of America. Increasing taxation, which is Huffers predominant approach, is an act of self cannibalization. It would be nice if Utopia and Nirvana were current realities but such is not the case.

We have become a society of fools, we base more and more of our belief structures on propaganda, quick innuendo and falsehood. We no longer have a press that we can depend on to research their articles or to report factually regardless of personal viewpoints. The group is the world's oldest and largest Islamic political group,[1] and the "world's most influential Islamist movement."[2] It was founded in 1928 in Egypt by the Islamic scholar and Sufi schoolteacher Hassan al-Banna

The Brotherhood's stated goal is to instill the Qur'an and Sunnah as the "sole reference point for ... ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community ... and state"

Since its inception in 1928 the movement has officially opposed violent means to achieve its goals,[4][5] with some exceptions such as in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict or to overthrow secular Ba'athist rule in Syria (see Hama massacre). This position has been questioned, particularly by the Egyptian government, which accused the group of a campaign of killings in Egypt after World War II.[6].

Among the Brotherhood's more influential members was Sayyid Qutb. Qutb was the author of one of Islamism's most important books, Milestones, which called for the restoration of Islam by re-establishing the Sharia and by using "physical power and Jihad for abolishing the organizations and authorities of the Jahili system, which he believed to include the entire Muslim world.
