Why is it necessary to redefine marriage. Words hold definite meanings, especially when those meanings involve history and tradition. There are few of us in this country who believe lbgt couples should not have equal rights under the law. There are also few, other than the lbgt community, who believe those equal rights should be given under the form of a civil union.
