AR2:I trust you are speaking about Iraq. The general consensus of civilized nations was that sadam did have those weapons, and the capability to produce more. It wasn’t that wmd’s were not found it was that they were not found as a large cache. Sadam was not only a threat to his own region and people, as he had proved, but his penchant for adolation made him a threat in terms of proliferat­ion of wmd’s and gifting them to groups such as al Q. There simply were no false pretenses involoved.
