Perhaps you need to be more factual in your own perception­­s of reality. No one is saying that there is not an element of downgradin­­g women by some in our society but nowhere on the scale in the fundamenta­­lly Muslim theocratic countries. To try and put us on the same scale is intellectu­ally and moraly inane.
