Your comment exemplifie­s your ignorance and lack of logic. The release of the hostages in Iran took place because Reagan was steadfast in his dealings with the regime. The rise of the Taliban in Afghanista­n was not due to the support we gave the "Freedom fighters" it was the result of allowing politician­s to force us to leave a vacuum because of folks like you. The same thing your ilk did in Viet Nam, Iraq, and are trying to do in Afghanista­n. Getting out before the job is done.
