ns on base pay. The tax payers should have the right to vote on how much they are willing to contribute to the retirement and the medical insurance and how much should be contribute
d by those receiving the benefits. That is putting those jobs on the same playing field as those in the private sector. Why should the government take on the burden of collection agent for the unions? Why should teachers be forced to join the unions? Why should union members be different than the rest of us.
