I think the pastor delivered the message poorly, I think all people should have legal equality, I believe the LGB folks have freedom and the right to partake of the benefits of Marriage, but....It's not a marriage it is a union. I do not believe that all of those relationships have a inherent cause and in many cases are caused by a lack of parental support in other areas. The human sexual animal will seek satisfaction as a natural drive. To accept that belief, in order to condone, that same gender sexuality is a normal occurance is not supported in any of the animal kingdom, excepting seahorses. The true statement regarding sexuality is one of purpose and that purpose is procreation. You have the right to choose, you have the right to equality under the law, you do not have the right to lable your unions as a marriage.
By the way Christ abhorred hatred, saved sinners, and God gave us all a freedom to make choices. How we use that right is unique to each.
