It's been a loooong time since national interests and truth have played a major part in political acquisition of power. It has been suggested that the down fall of Democracy is inevitable due to this very factor. Term limits may be the only way that this path can be avoided. Honesty is not the problem as I'm sure the ideologues “honestly believe” the problem is making choices for our country based on truth and best course.
