Paul Ryan Budget Sparks First Ads Blasting Medicare Cuts

First off let’s address the Obama plan cuts to provider payments. As a senior citizen who had to change Doctors I speak from firsthand knowledge that finding providers for Medicare services is already difficult. The reduction of fees to the medical front line is detrimental to the purpose touted by proponents of Obamacare which is to provide healthcare to all who need it. Those reductions in payment to providers will force more and more out of the pool of providers thereby denying care to seniors. In addressing the eventual total loss of Medicare, to all through insolvency, the Ryan plan finds an alternative path to replace Medicare in the future. The cuts do not affect those currently using the program but instead find a way to provide needed healthcare during a transitionary period. The Liberal progressive talking points represent no less than falsehoods to create fear in those who are uninformed.
