ENOUGH! WE NEED SOLUTIONS.
This has been an interesting week. We have watched and listened to our President do his strut, as savior of the world, and his humble apologetic act in an attempt to show the world theater how he is trying to save our planet.
The fact that America is a dominant world power is not something to apologize for, nor is it a position to relinquish lightly. Our country, and its strengths, both morally and militarily, have kept our world from harms that only God can know. The same has stopped many others from gobbling up or murdering their neighbors. An example of this is the fact that Iraq is no longer gassing their neighbors and are now growing into an adult nation. (The reason for the change is our president's ability to make a decision to stop a tyrannical government from existing. This was not a bad or an evil act on the part of the United States.)
It's not enough that we criticize our current state of affairs, nor is it enough to recognize that we have problems. Our ship could be in danger of sinking. If we don't all do our part to bail the water by finding solutions instead of petty idealogic name calling, we could all go down with the ship.
There are no shortages of fronts that our country is in need of strong leadership on. We are a country that has become great because of leadership, of ideas, success of individual attitudes and strivings. The world today is a better place because of our competetive, inovative nature and entrepreneureship. The freedom we have enjoyed in determining our own good fortune has been a blessing, not only to those who have risen to the top, but also to those who have reaped the benefit of their creativity.
The body and mind of a country is much the same as that of any other organism. It is only as healthy and as strong as the individual parts. Cancer can infect the political body but through true education, facts and a hunger for truth, we can remove political cancer from our country by the vote.
Voting is only as good as we make it. If we base our vote on false or indoctrinated ideology, we add to the sickness. I strongly urge us as a people to educate ourselves and to find the truth before we vote; and then to find those who adhere to logic and truth and vote for them.
