Gun Violence and the Lessons of Tucson: Will the Chambers Once Again Be Loaded Against the American People?

Amazingly ignorant statement. I would guess that you thought the Bush Cheney years were the ones to fear. Paranoia has little to do with the one class of our society, politician­s, who will stop at nothing for their own gain in power. You need to do some research and study some history. The encroachme­nt of politic upon our society is unending and is a basic law of the universe. Those who covet power also covet control. The more you look to your government for providence the weaker you become as an individual­.

The facts regarding guns in this particular circumstan­ce are: this guy should not have been on the street in his condition; He should never have been allowed to purchase a weapon in his mental state; also one of the people who shut him down had a weapon legally.
